We traverse to the beautiful town of Blue Hill and their local brewpub DeepWater Brewing. Located on the lovely Arborvine Restaurant property we are greeted by grape vines, hop bines and a beautifully restored 200-year-old barn that houses DeepWater Brewing and the taproom. Tim Hikade, head brewer as well as head chef, is creating some very solid brews in his new space-a nod to classic styles with Blue Hill flair. They’ll invite us in to sample his beers in a “brewery view” tap room inside the old barn. I say old, but it was painstakingly renovated in 2014 and still retains the old world post and beam charm. Samples will be provided. DeepWater sells merchandise and growlers to go.
